Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Sunday claimed the President's stimulus plan combined with 2008's Troubled Assets Relief Program resulted in ten million jobs being saved.

Sen.Charles"Chuck"Schumer called Massachusetts Republican Senate candidate Scott Brown a "far-right tea-bagger." He sent an email fund-raising letter out that used a term suggesting that the Massachusetts Senatorial Candidate engages in a deviant sexual act. I am sure Chuckie will say, "No,No,No, I wasn't trying to slur his sexuality. I wasn't trying to bring questions out about his sexual preferences. I was referring to the support he is receiving from the Tea Party Supporters."
"Chuck has a way of saying things that I don't think he really understands or means, and it's unfortunate," Scott Brown told Fox News Thursday when asked about the e-mail. "I'm not into name-calling. ... so shame on Chuck."

New York Democrat "Chuckie" Schumer referred to a flight attendant as a “bitch” after she ordered him to turn off his phone before takeoff.

A flight attendant approached Schumer and told him the entire plane was waiting on him to shut down his phone.

Schumer asked if he could finish his conversation. When the flight attendant said “no,” Schumer ended his call but continued to argue his case.

He said he was entitled to keep his phone on until the cabin door was closed. The flight attendant said he was obliged to turn it off whenever a flight attendant asked.

“He argued with her about the rule,” the source said. “She said she doesn’t make the rules, she just follows them.”

When the flight attendant walked away, the witness says Schumer turned to Gillibrand and called the Flight Attendent a B*TCH. According to Politico story

The long-simmering tension between insurers and congressional Democrats is erupting into open warfare, with lawmakers stepping up their push to revoke a key federal protection for the insurance industry.

A Sen. Schumer Press Release—Days after the health insurance industry openly declared it will use the emerging health care reform overhaul as an excuse to raise premiums on millions of Americans, U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer (D-NY) urged Wednesday that the legislation should include a new provision to revoke the industry’s anti-trust exemption.

By virtue of the McCarran-Ferguson Act, passed by Congress in 1945, the insurance industry is one of only a handful of select industries in the United States, such as Major League Baseball and railroads, to be exempted from federal antitrust laws................

Schumer called for attaching a floor amendment to the health care bill that Majority Leader Harry Reid plans to bring to the floor later this month...........

A repeal of McCarran-Ferguson would have the effect of restoring the federal government’s power to curtail price-fixing, collusion and other anti-competitive practices that may exist within the health insurance industry.
