Are they hurting Mr. Gibbs?

Are they hurting Mr.Gibbs?
What a moron.

The people making 250K a year are not spending as much money. The people making 40K a year are not spending as much money. The 84 million people not in the workforce are not spending as much money. The 14,860,000 unemployed are not spending as much money.

There are many reasons. Many are not spending money because my investment income went into the crapper. They don't have as much to spend. Their annual income has decreased. Many are also not spending because of the uncertainty of the economy. Sooner or later, someone is going to have to pay the piper. Our debt will come due.

Gibbs talks about those with 250K incomes. Those people are not as bad off as someone with a 40K income. That is obvious.
The point he neglects is if someone had a job that pays $250K and had investment income paying $50K in 2006, and their income kept pace with inflation. They would have a $270K income and $0 from investments. Their lifestyle changed dramatically. And a net loss of $30K a year in 2006 dollars. If they bought a house at the height of the market in 2006 for 2 1/2 times their salary, $625K and put 20% down, they had a mortgage of $500,000. Say they were in the booming Phoenix Arizona market. As of March 2009, the Phoenix home market dropped 48%. That means their house is now worth $325,000, and they are still paying $2700 a month on his mortgage. Are they hurting Mr.Gibbs? They still owes $467K on a $325K house. Are they hurting Mr. Gibbs? They are now paying more for their health care, and unsure of what Obamacare will do to the health care costs. Are They hurting Mr. Gibbs? Their kids college tuition grew at 7.1% a year. They were paying $20K in 2006, They are paying $26K now. Are they hurting Mr.Gibbs? Are they pulling back?

Whuite House Annoying the far left too.

In an interview with The Hill newspaper in Washington DC, Gibbs revealed frustration at attacks on the administration from liberal Democrats and others on the left, in terms likely to make relations even worse:
"I hear these people saying he's like George Bush. Those people ought to be drug tested," Gibbs said. "I mean, it's crazy." Reported by UK guardian

Gibbs does some slippin' and slidin' on Berwick

Gibbs seems to avoid answering the questions about recess appointee Donald Berwick

In an article published in 1994 in the Journal of the American Medical Association, Berwick opined, "Most metropolitan areas in the United States should reduce the number of centers engaging in cardiac surgery, high-risk obstetrics, neonatal intensive care, organ transplantation, tertiary cancer care, high-level trauma care, and high-technology imaging."

"There needs to be global budget caps on total healthcare spending for designated populations (ie-rationing)" Dr. Berwick says. "The simplest way to reach these goals is with a single payer system."

Is White House Gibbs "Taking the 5th"?

It wasn't the crime
that got Nixon in trouble.
It was the cover-up

He didn't take the 5th exactly, not yet.
He is just looking for the advice of counsel.

A reporter asked Gibbs why he wouldn’t discuss the offer over many months, even as the administration contended that nothing inappropriate had taken place. “I’d have to ask counsel for a better answer,” Gibbs said.
The press secretary also demurred on whether offers made to Sestak in June and July of 2009 ......... “Whatever’s in the memo is accurate,” Gibbs said, adding that he would “check.”

The fear of the Tea Party and Sarah causes Gibbs to mock her.

Sarah Gets Targeted By White House.
The chief paid mouthpiece
for the world's greatest teleprompter user
has the audacity to mock Sarah over a few scribbles.
His boss needs a teleprompter to talk to 20 people.
Comparing a note on a hand to a teleprompter
is like comparing apples to 60 tons of Yak Manure.

Gibbs Forgets that Obama proposed a HUGE DEFICIT.

Is Gibbs dishonest or just a complete moron???
Gibbs: “You Can’t Spend More Than You Have”

U.S. unemployment will surge to 10 percent this year and
the budget deficit will be $1.5 trillion
next year, both higher than previous Obama administration forecasts ........ White House budget chief Peter Orszag said, according to Bloomberg News

Maybe Robert Gibbs was out of the country???

Maybe Robert Gibbs was out of the country from 2000-2008.
Maybe he missed all the Bushitler stuff, or the 9-11 was an inside job stuff.

Robert Gibbs says.......... You hear in this debate, you hear analogies, you hear references to, you see pictures about and depictions of individuals that are truly stunning, and you hear it all the time. People — imagine five years ago somebody comparing health care reform to 9/11. Imagine just a few years ago had somebody walked around with images of Hitler. Hopefully we can get back to a discussion about the issues that are important in this country that we can do so without being personally disagreeable and set up comparisons to things that were so insidious in our history that anybody in any profession or walk of life would be well advised to compare nothing to those atrocities.

Opinions are like A**holes, Everyone has one.

Tapper: It’s escaped none of our notice that the White House has decided in the last few weeks to declare one of our sister organizations “not a news organization” and to tell the rest of us not to treat them like a news organization. Can you explain why it’s appropriate for the White House to decide that a news organization is not one –

Gibbs: Jake, we render, we render an opinion based on some of their coverage and the fairness that, the fairness of that coverage.

Tapper: But that’s a pretty sweeping declaration that they are “not a news organization.” How are they any different from, say –

Gibbs: ABC -

Tapper: ABC. MSNBC. Univision. I mean how are they any different?

Gibbs: You and I should watch sometime around 9 o’clock tonight. Or 5 o’clock this afternoon.(OK , So he doesn't like Hannity or Beck. They are commentators, not "journalists", even though they break a lot of news)

Tapper: I’m not talking about their opinion programming or issues you have with certain reports. I’m talking about saying thousands of individuals who work for a media organization, do not work for a “news organization” -- why is that appropriate for the White House to say?

Gibbs: That’s our opinion.

Doesn't Gibbs sound like he is so full of ..........

And you can check previous post here See the disconnect between what was said, and what is being said.
"There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help.
