OMG, Sarah Gaffes Again...

Sen.Mitch McConnell
Doesn't Know The Name Of The Senate Minority Leader
Speaking this morning, she (it should be "He").....

"(Obama)mistakenly referred to the Kentucky senator as “Mike” in a speech this morning before signing a children’s nutrition bill. “They couldn’t be here today but they played a huge role in making this happen … Sen. Mike McConnell, the ranking Republican who helped facilitate the smooth passage of this bill…”

OH NO, I Got it Wrong.
It was President Obama who Doesn't know the Name of the Minority Leader.

silly dems....

I don't really Twit, Tweet, or whatever, but these were reported onTwitter. The idiots were not aware that Sarah was making fun of Barack Obama. See more at Conservatives4Palin
I think Governor Palin's "math" is fine, but thanks for showing us that you can at least add.
Why yes. Yes she did!

Perhaps this is one of David Frum's relatives.

Really?

Try reading next time.

This is getting repetitive.

Sarah answers back...............

On her Facebook page.........

My fellow Americans in all 57 states, the time has changed for come. With our country founded more than 20 centuries ago, we have much to celebrate – from the FBI’s 100 days to the reforms that bring greater inefficiencies to our health care system. We know that countries like Europe are willing to stand with us in our fight to halt the rise of privacy, and Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. And let’s face it, everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma and they end up taking up a hospital bed. It costs, when, if you, they just gave, you gave them treatment early, and they got some treatment, and ah, a breathalyzer, or an inhalator. I mean, not a breathalyzer, ah, I don’t know what the term is in Austrian for that…

Obviously, I would have been even more impressed if the media showed some consistency on this issue. Unfortunately, it seems they couldn’t resist the temptation to turn a simple one word slip-of-the-tongue of mine into a major political headline. The one word slip occurred yesterday during one of my seven back-to-back interviews wherein I was privileged to speak to the American public about the important, world-changing issues before us.

If the media had bothered to actually listen to all of my remarks on Glenn Beck’s radio show, they would have noticed that I refer to South Korea as our ally throughout, that I corrected myself seconds after my slip-of-the-tongue, and that I made it abundantly clear that pressure should be put on China to restrict energy exports to the North Korean regime. The media could even have done due diligence and checked my previous statements on the subject, which have always been consistent, and in fact even ahead of the curve. But why let the facts get in the way of a good story? (And for that matter, why not just make up stories out of thin air – like the totally false hard news story which has run for three days now reporting that I lobbied the producers of “Dancing with the Stars” to cast a former Senate candidate on their show. That lie is further clear proof that the media completely makes things up without doing even rudimentary fact-checking.)

“Hope springs eternal” as the poet says. Let’s hope that perhaps, just maybe, they might get it right next time. When we the people are effective in holding America’s free press accountable for responsible and truthful reporting, then we shall all have even more to be thankful for!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Sarah's Facebook Entry on WSJ

Do Wall Street Journal Reporters Read the Wall Street Journal?

by Sarah Palin on Monday, 08 November 2010 at 16:58
Ever since 2008, people seem inordinately interested in my reading habits. Among various newspapers, magazines, and local Alaskan papers, I read the Wall Street Journal.

So, imagine my dismay when I read an article by Sudeep Reddy in today’s Wall Street Journal criticizing the fact that I mentioned inflation in my comments about QE2 in a speech this morning before a trade-association. Here’s what I said: “everyone who ever goes out shopping for groceries knows that prices have risen significantly over the past year or so. Pump priming would push them even higher.”

Mr. Reddy takes aim at this. He writes: “Grocery prices haven’t risen all that significantly, in fact.” Really? That’s odd, because just last Thursday, November 4, I read an article in Mr. Reddy’s own Wall Street Journal titled “Food Sellers Grit Teeth, Raise PricesPackagers and Supermarkets Pressured to Pass Along Rising Costs, Even as Consumers Pinch Pennies.”

The article noted that “an inflationary tide is beginning to ripple through America's supermarkets and restaurants…Prices of staples including milk, beef, coffee, cocoa and sugar have risen sharply in recent months.”

Now I realize I’m just a former governor and current housewife from Alaska, but even humble folks like me can read the newspaper. I’m surprised a prestigious reporter for the Wall Street Journal doesn’t.

Chris Matthews shows why his show is the bottom of the barrel

He tries to make it seem like President Obama had a great resume.
He tries to downplay Palin with the usual manure about her being less educated.
All he succeeds in doing is making himself look like a partisan hack with a "Thrill" still running up his leg.

Historical Ignorance

Seeking to channel the sign-bearing, flag-waving enthusiasm of the "tea party" movement into ballot-box victories, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told hundreds of supporters Monday they couldn't "party like it's 1773" until Washington was flooded with like-minded conservatives, reported the LATimes

In response
The DailyKos twittered....

Barack Slaps Sarah.

"I will listen to people who owe their jobs to me, before I listen to any criticism."

Palin, the former vice presidential candidate, has not been shy about criticizing Obama’s policies and this week weighed in on his revamped nuclear strategy, saying it was like a child in a playground who says ‘punch me in the face, I’m not going to retaliate.’
“I really have no response to that. The last I checked, Sarah Palin is not much of an expert on nuclear issues,” Obama said in an interview with ABC News
“What I would say to [Republican critics] is, is that if the secretary of defense and the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff are comfortable with it, I’m probably going to take my advice from them and not from Sarah Palin.”
We know his thinking on nukes.

The headquarters of Alaska’s Democratic Party was vandalized over the weekend and the state party chair thinks the incident was influenced by Sarah Palin, says Holmes

Poor guy has lost it since he was truncated from Hannity

“There has become this inflammatory rhetoric, and Sarah Palin is leading the charge,” Patti Higgins (pictured), state chair of the Alaska Democratic Party, said. “In the beginning I didn’t think she knew what she was doing, but now I think she does.”

Of course Sarah Palin was in Nevada at the time.

UPDATE: A Video from.... Al Jazeera

Sarah Palin got the largest ovation from the drivers meeting at the Nascar Daytona 500, packed from the front to the back with drivers, team members, support personnel and onlookers, according to the SUN-SENTINAL

After sitting through the meeting, Palin could not get out the door. Fans mobbed her, asking for pictures and autographs. Her 12-person entourage, comprised of track security, a policeman, friends and spokespeople, tried to get her to the door and to her next appearance. But Palin could not help herself, and kept signing and posing for pictures.
