Restore American vs. Socialist Agenda

ED SCHULTZ: Hold it right there! Before we get to her answer, I could get every union head in this country, I could organize every progressive group in this country, the main bloggers. This could be The Ed March. Folks, 300,000 people on the heels of six months' promotion, that ain't no big shakes!

This is no sign that there's going to be any big turn of events when it comes to the ballot box and there will be no Democrats in the congress. This is no tea leaf about, "well gosh, they're coming in November."

Six months' promotion, NBC News says 300,000 people. I bet I could do that! I bet I could do that with this radio show and my TV show and six months' production, six months' promotion, if I had the budget I could equal that march. I know I could! I know I could!

I know that I could get Leo Gerard, i could get the Service Employees International Union, I could get AFSCME, I could get all these--I guarantee you, I could do more than 300,000! It ain't a big deal!

I Guess Ed came up a few short.....

Glenn Beck calls out the Center for American Progress

He asks........
Do you know this man? The liberal think tank Center for American Progress created a video holding this man up as proof that Tea Parties accept racists in their ranks. In this video, Glenn Beck exposes how the Center for American Progress edited out the fact that the Tea Party members ridiculed, harassed and berated this guy and did not accept him at all.

Did a Tea Party person say the President "would be fetching coffee" or doesn't have a "Negro dialect? Oh no, that was 2 Dems

Defending the American Dream Summit

AFP Foundation’s 4th annual Defending the American Dream Summit will be held August 27-28, 2010 at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, DC.
Today, the voices of average Americans are being drowned out by lobbyists and special interests. The result: policies that are threatening to destroy the American Dream – higher taxes and out-of-control government spending, job-killing regulations, and endless red-tape.

But you can do something about it. You can send a powerful message to the politicians, special interests, and the mainstream media by taking part in the Defending the American Dream Summit. And Get on to the Mall on 8/28....
On August 27th and 28th you can join America’s foremost free-market voices, top experts on grassroots mobilization, and the nation’s largest gathering of grassroots leaders from across the country in a massive show of force for our shared belief in limited government and free enterprise.

Beck Lays Into Joe Klein.

Long Clip

Absolutely amazing poll results from CNN today about the $787 stimulus package: nearly three out of four Americans think the money has been wasted. On second thought, they may be right: it's been wasted on them. Indeed, the largest single item in the package--$288 billion--is tax relief for 95% of the American public. This money is that magical $60 to $80 per month you've been finding in your paycheck since last spring. Not a life changing amount, but helpful in paying the bills.

Hey Ragin' Cajun, What in the heck is a Hockey Court?

James Carville says.............
I think he’s nuts… Just out and out nuts. And I also think that he’s a blatant hypocrite. Here’s somebody that sits on his show and weeping about how much he loves America… and then, he’s absolutely giddy when his country doesn’t get the Olympics.

He wouldn’t know the difference between a football, a bat, and a hockey court.

I know what a football isor maybe this
I know what a bat is
And i know what a hockey RINK is
And unlike your old boss, I know what the meaning of "is" is
What in the heck is a Hockey Court?
Is that what they call it down in N'awlins?

Let's all get as silly as SARGENTO.(UPDATE)

I don't really listen to Glenn Beck. I never watch his TV show. But what I am going to do is stop buying Sargento.I buy your mozzarella regularly. Not anymore. If you are going to boycott him, I think I will boycott you.
I sent that line to Sargento Foods after I saw that they said......

Company on Decision to Pull Ads from Beck TV Show: 'We Do Not Want to be Associated with Hateful Speech'

"I can confirm that Sargento has instructed our media buyer to not buy advertising that would appear during the Glenn Beck Show," Gannon said in an e-mail to the Business & Media Institute on Aug. 14. "We market our products to people regardless of their political affiliations. As a business, we sometimes disagree with the administration's policies. Yet we do not want to be associated with hateful speech used by either liberal or conservative television hosts."

I am not a fan of organized boycotts. I prefer to let the market run freely. But if the Anti-Speech folk are going to pressure companies into silly behavior, I might as well match their silly behavior, and boycott the boycotters.

You can contact Sargento here
UPDATE ! ! !
Earlier this month, GEICO instructed its ad buyer "to redistribute its inventory of rotational spots" to other Fox-TV programs, ColorofChange said in a statement, citing an email received from GEICO. "As of August 4, GEICO no longer runs any paid advertising spots during Mr. Beck's program," the email read.

Among other sponsors who have pulled their ads from Beck's show are household products companies Procter & Gamble (PG) and SC Johnson, and another insurer, Progressive Insurance (PGR), ColorofChange said. Progressive Insurance rep Cristy Cote said that the company wants to "avoid programming that we believe our customers and potential customers might find extremely offensive."
