Black pastor asks for white greeters only to get the ‘best of the best'

In an odd twist of events, a pastor is now facing a fierce backlash after she made a controversial request that “only white people” be allowed to serve as greeters at the Freedom House Church in North Carolina, according to WBTV in Charlotte, which reported the story on Monday.
Having a request for whites only in 2013 is strange enough on its own, but what might make this situation somewhat uncommon to some people is the fact that this pastor, Makeda Pennycooke, is an African-American, not the proverbial, conservative, Southern white bigot that so many would automatically expect.(Well as so many "Progressive, tolerant" liberals would expect. Clinton said Obama should be fetching coffee )

In an email that was sent to volunteers who act as greeters for the chruch’s 9 a.m. Sunday service, Pennycooke said that “first impressions matter,” and the church wants “the best of the best on the front doors.” Pennycooke also said: “We anticipate having an increase in the number of people visiting and attending Freedom House over the next few weeks.” “We are continuing to work to bring our racial demographic pendulum back to mid-line, so we would like to ask that only white people be on the front doors.”

He was hated, that's why he is so popular.

Bush book sells as much in 2 months,
as Clinton's did in 2 years.
Alex Perene sounds like a High School kid trying to answer a question after he forgot to do his homework. He is making up allsorts of silly excuses

President Obama Slinks Away and Lets the Adults Talk

A bunch of local conservatives got together today and laughed at this press conference. It was viewed as President Obama abdicating. I am sure there are millions of Democrats who want to have a bumper sticker that says
"We Miss You Bill"
Saw this pic over at iOwnTheWorld and had to add it...

Did Bill "Fetch me coffee" Clinton just want the black man out of the race?

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele accused Mr. Clinton of wronging black voters in his attempts to coax Mr. Meek out of the race. Mr. Meek, a Miami congressman, is African-American. The intervention would send a "chilling signal to all voters, but especially African Americans," said Mr. Steele, who is black.

Former President Bill Clinton tried to persuade Florida Democratic Rep. Kendrick Meek to drop out of his U.S. Senate race and support Gov. Charlie Crist's independent candidacy in hopes of thwarting a victory by Republican Marco Rubio.

Former "Republican" Charlie Crist making deals with Dems.

Bill Clinton sought to persuade Rep. Kendrick Meek to drop out of the race for Senate during a trip to Florida last week — and nearly succeeded.....
“The argument was: ‘You can be a hero here. You can stop him, you can change this race in one swoop,’” said another Democrat familiar with the conversations, who said Clinton had bluntly told Meek that he couldn’t win the race......

Crist also confirmed the planned scenario Thursday night, telling MSNBC's Keith Olbermann:
"I had numerous phone calls with people very close to President Clinton."

Bill Clinton excuses Robert Byrd's KKK membership.

Bill "Fetch me coffee" Clinton calls Byrd's Klan Membership as fleeting....
Byrd was a member for many years. He might not have been a member when he filibustered the Civil Rights Bills in the Senate.Or when he voted against every black person who was nominated for the Supreme Court.

Dick Morris Tells Truth On Clinton.

Bill "Go fetch us coffee" Clinton
knows who the real hatemongers are.
Every Tea Party/Tax Day Event that I have been to, has been attended by "just regular folk". I have seen no racist signs. I have heard no "hate speech". There has been as much anti-Reid,and anti-Pelosi comments made as Anti-Obama. There has been a tremendous amount of pro-freedom speeches. A tremendous amount of worry is present. No one is talking violence at all. It is ALL DEM POLEMICS.

Former President Clinton Changed the World

He did OK for 8 years.

President Clinton didn't have too many great successes during his eight years in the White House that were self initiated. He continued the work started by President Reagan. Kudos to him for that. He allowed the Newt Gingrich led Congress balance the budget for a period of time. He signed some great legislation that the Republicans pushed.
His only real score for 8 years was Monica. (well there were many "bimbo eruptions")
Well his testimony in regard changed the world.
According to CBS Healthwatch, less than one in five,20%, think that oral-genital contact counts as “having sex,” according to a 2007 survey of undergraduate college students.
This attitude toward oral-genital contact represents a big shift in thinking since Pre-Clinton. A similar survey from 1991, found that nearly twice as many young adults, about 40%,would classify oral-genital contact as sex.
Researchers give credit to Pres. Clinton’s testimony, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman," as the reason for the doubling of the people who now think oral sex is not sex. They call it the "Clinton-Lewinsky" effect.

President Bill Clinton skewers Al Gore.

President Bill Clinton spoke at the annual Gridiron Dinner.
Bill Clinton noted he was speaking on the night before the start of spring, “otherwise known to Al Gore as proof of global warming.”
He said,“I have been waiting to stand in for President Obama for a long time,” he said, “ and since they turned me down for Dancing with the Stars, I had nothing better to do.”
He said of Sen. Orrin Hatch,“Orin, he’s the wittiest of all the Republicans. That‘s sort of like saying he’s the tallest of the Seven Dwarfs.”
He went on, “I flew here from Cleveland, and I flew out of the Dennis Kucinich Airport”—a suggestion that Ohio Democratic Rep. Kucinich must have gotten something flattering in return for his decision two days ago to vote for the Obama bill.

OH BOY, Has he inhaled since he left office?

"Yo Dude, the bag of weed was this big"

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) said Clinton described the ongoing tea party protests against the Democratic agenda as a sign his party was making progress.

Whitehouse quoted Clinton arguing: “The reason the tea-baggers are so inflamed is because we are winning.”…writes the Politico
Has he talked to Deeds or Corzine?
