Alleged Republican, Arnold Schwarzenegger, now has added a fine for "speeders" in California. The speeders are not caught by cops. Theyare caught by a computer sensor.
Arnold and his cronies are counting the money.
"In Beverly Hills, for instance, there are nine red-light cameras, which could catch 835 speeders a month, the Schwarzenegger administration estimated." says the LA Times.
That would add up to about $337.9 million through June 2011. They already added the revenue to the budget.
The La Times adds, "There would be . . . fewer accidents and injuries to drivers, passengers and pedestrians." But clearly not the concern for Arnold and his cronies.
