Alleged Republican, Arnold Schwarzenegger,now has added a fine for "speeders" in California. The speeders are not caught by cops. Theyare caught by a computer sensor.
Arnold and his cronies are counting the money.
"In Beverly Hills, for instance, there are nine red-light cameras, which could catch 835 speeders a month, the Schwarzenegger administration estimated." says the LA Times.That would add up to about $337.9 million through June 2011. They already added the revenue to the budget.
The La Times adds, "There would be . . . fewer accidents and injuries to drivers, passengers and pedestrians." But clearly not the concern for Arnold and his cronies.

California city shuts down girl's lemonade stand

Why is California going broke?
A little 8 year old girl was hoping to raise money for a family trip to Disneyland. Daniela Earnest opened a lemonade stand .
But because Daniela didn't have a business license, the city of Tulare shut it down the same day.
Richard Garcia, a Tulare code enforcement officer, told Daniela and her stepmother that their lemonade stand — on the northwest corner of the busy intersection — was not safe, and also that they needed a business license to sell lemonade. See the story here

Yes, that is what the need enforcement officers doing. Paying a guy $$$ togo after 8 year old girls. That is a wise investment in resources Arnold.
