  1. What a bozo! This guy claims to have been a cop in the South Bronx for over 20 years and now he's complaining about being escorted out. I wish I had a nickel for every innocent law abiding citizens head he cracked or threatened to crack over the years...I could be retired too.

It's also no surprise that he probably has great health care (hard won by his union) and has no need for healthcare reform. And by the looks of him he's goin' be needin' some pretty soon!

He's also retired living on the public dole (another thing you guys supposedly hate). Which raises the question, What exactly do YOU see when you look in the mirror?

  2. Actually the healthcare he has from navy is probably better in NH dollar wise, but the lines and waits are much longer than private insurance. The cheap NYPD one is not great if you are not in area It is real good if u live in NY, but not so good otherwise, but it will do.The first one I had when I retired is now about $600 a month above what the city pays. That is a reform that I would love. Portability of insurance. Lets get that on the books instead of fifty separate fiefdoms.

As a union delegate I did work hard, Thank you.

The good officer paid pension contributions for 23 yrs. He worked for 23 years. Slightly different than living on the public dole.
And not too many professions where u have great stories to match all your scars. I see the scars. I see the babies I delivered. I see the people whose lives I saved. I see the people who I arrested for crimes.
