How come Virginia unemployment has increased nearly 80%? 

Before Tom was elected in 2008, unemployment in Virginia was 3.9% according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics
In 2009 the rate was 6.7%, after 1 year of President Obama and Tom Perriello. It is now 7.0% with 2 years of Tom.
Some can be blamed on President Bush, some can be blamed on the Democrat House of Representatives. Some can be blamed on President Obama. Some can be blamed on Rep. Tom Perriello.

But No Where, Can Any Credit Be Given.

Banning political signs is a tactic first recommended last year by Health Care for Americans Now (HCAN) a front group for the SEIU. Their instructions to Democratic lawmakers and their union allies read: "Another way to limit protesters’ ability to hijack your event is to confiscate signs or leaflets that they may bring into the venue from outside. The best way to do this is to make a blanket rule that no one can bring signs or leaflets and to advertise this fact as you do turn out in the weeks preceding the event. You can distribute your own signs in the event and offer them one as they enter if you choose to allow them to enter."

Last night at 11:16 PM the United States House of Representatives voted to destroy the American way of life by passing a health care bill that puts more power into the hands of the political hacks in Washington. This bill which passed by only three votes and had one Republican voting for it, Joseph Cao of Louisiana, can now be spun as by-partisan legislation. Thank you Mr. Cao.

Here in the 5th District Congressman, I agree with everything in principle, Tom Perriello also voted for this unconstitutional piece of legislation. Tom not only broke his oath to uphold the United States Constitution he also lied to people in the town halls when he stated he would not vote for any health care legislation that funded abortion and allowed illegal aliens to participate in the program. Protest at Tom Perriello's Office Dispersed by Cops.

More than sixty concerned United States citizens and residents of Virginia’s 5th Congressional District gathered in the parking lot immediately outside Democrat Congressman Tom Perriello’s Charlottesville office on July 17th. Organized by Bill Hay and the Jefferson Area Tea Party, the rally’s purpose was to allow attendees a forum in which to express their concerns over the prospect of nationalized/socialized medicine directly to Congressman Perriello (who chose not to attend), or in close proximity to his office.

While respectful in tone and content, citizen upon citizen passionately articulated apprehension over the potential negative impacts of socialized “health care” on their families, their businesses, their finances, and their own personal health.......

Approximately forty minutes into the event, Charlottesville police were called to the parking lot area.......
