Palladino in NY gets some heat for calling Kirsten Gillibrand "Schumer's Little Girl"

Just because Carl Paladino can't con trol his flapping jaw doesn't mean that everything he says is wrong.

Thursday, the GOP gubernatorial candidate dismissed Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand as "[Chuck] Schumer's little girl."

Yesterday he doubled down:

"[Gillibrand] does exactly what Schumer tells her to do . . . She follows him whatever he wants her to do. She is his little girl."

This gave the usual suspects the vapors -- but it's pretty much on the money.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid had an unusual form of praise for New York's junior senator, Kirsten Gillibrand, this morning at the fundraiser Mayor Bloomberg hosted for him at his townhouse - referring to her as "the hottest member" as she sat just a few feet away, according to three sources.
