Byrd was a member for many years. He might not have been a member when he filibustered the Civil Rights Bills in the Senate.Or when he voted against every black person who was nominated for the Supreme Court.

ReplyDeleteMaybe if he had just donated $10 and got the yearly newsletter once or twice but this guy was a recruitor for the KKK and in fact conducted the longest filabuster against the civil rights bill in 1960something...
People saw Byrd for what he was and they see Clinton for what he is now....
