2 Arrested re: Waynesboro Homicide
Suspects Charged in South River Homicide
The Waynesboro Police Department has taken two men into custody involved in the death of John Kelley Miller, 44, whose body was discovered in the South River Friday night shortly after 7:00 P.M. according to a press release from the department.
Officers arrested the two suspects approximately 26 hours into a continuous and exhaustive investigation which included numerous interviews, searches and evidence collection efforts.
Both subjects were arrested at different city locations and transported to the police department where additional investigation, coupled with the work already done, resulted the following charges to the below identified subjects.
Matthew Alan Painter, 36 years old, of Waynesboro has been charged with 2nd Degree Murder and Concealment of a Human Body which is a class 6 felony.
Nicholas Adam Holloway 24 years old, also of Waynesboro has been charged with Concealment of a Human Body which is a class 6 felony.
Both subjects have been held without bond pending their first court appearance.
