Prayers for the 11 people still lost
According to CNN....At least 11 people were missing and seven were critically injured after an explosion on an offshore oil rig 52 miles southeast of Venice, Louisiana, in the Gulf of Mexico, the U.S. Coast Guard said Wednesday..........
Say a prayer for them and their families......
Lifeboats saved lives
"A substantial majority of the 126 member crew is safe but some crew members remain unaccounted for at this time," the company said in a statement. See more here on lifeboats
Some other news to come out of this incident is environmental
Officials did receive good news Friday when Coast Guard Rear Adm. Mary Landry said no oil appeared to be leaking from a well head at the ocean floor, nor was any leaking at the water's surface. But she said crews were closely monitoring the rig for any more crude that might spill out,according to AP
