No one doubts that there are poor sections of Gaza. No one doubts that there are dire situations. But we must remember what Mike Pence said about Gaza.
Gaza is controlled by a terrorist organization known as Hamas. Hamas used Gaza as a launching pad for thousands of rockets that killed innocent civilians in Israel. Israel responded with military force and has instituted a blockade that has saved lives in Gaza and in Israel. And there’s no humanitarian crisis. Ten thousand tons of food and medical supplies are transferred into Gaza every single week.

MAYBE THE TURKISH FLOTILLAS ARE GOING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION?

In Turkey, life expectancy is 72.23 and infant mortality is 24.84 per 1,000 births.

In Gaza, life expectancy is 73.68 and infant mortality is 17.71 per 1,000 births.

Turkey has a literacy rate of 88.7% while in Gaza it is 91.9%. (It is much lower in Egypt and other Arab countries where Israel did not establish colleges and universities in the 1970s and 1980s.)

Gaza’s GDP is almost as high as Turkey’s and much, much higher than most of Africa that gets 1,000th of the aid per capita that Gaza gets from the West.

Officials said delivery of the weapons was held up by the administration of President Barack Obama. Since taking office, Obama has refused to approve any major Israeli requests for U.S. weapons platforms or advanced systems........

Palestinians rioted across east Jerusalem on Tuesday, throwing rocks, setting tires and garbage bins ablaze and even using live fire against police forces deployed by the thousands in the capital.
The violence spread from one neighborhood to another.
The rioting erupted in the Muslim quarter of the Old City, along with the east Jerusalem neighborhoods of Wadi Joz, Ras el-Amud, Isawiya, the Shuafat refugee camp and Jebl Mukaber, among other locations.In Wadi Joz, mobs of rioters clashed with mounted police, who rode past smoking trash bins that had been set alight in the neighborhood during the melee.In Ras el-Amud, dozens of Palestinian youths, their faces shrouded in scarves and keffiyehs, repeatedly clashed with security forces throughout the day. The boom of stun grenades could be heard echoing through the neighborhood’s alleyways, even from inside the Old City, which is located across the Kidron Valley from the neighborhood.
Rioting also erupted in Isawiya, in northeast Jerusalem, where dozens of Palestinians hurled rocks and burned tires as they clashed with border patrolmen.

Does any American think that our President should just be "relaxing" as he talks with Prime Minister Netanyahu? Or should he appear engaged, businesslike? If you are going to release a picture, isn't it to send a message? What message did President Obama wish to send Israel?
