Egypt laid down its weapons, not only is there peace but Israel gave them back the Sinai desert. Jordan doesn't attack Israel and there is peace.

The resolution recommended the division of the British Mandate of Palestine into two provisional states, one Jewish(Israel) and one Arab(Jordan), with a separate status for the Jerusalem-Bethlehem area (which would be under special international protection, belonging to neither of the two states), and an accompanying framework for overall economic union.
