Turncoat Organizations Abandoning the Base

A number of well-established, single-focus national organizations with large constituencies made headlines recently after taking positions that compromised their founding principles. In effect, they abandoned their missions and original bases of support for political and/or financial gains.......
VFW PAC
AARP
AMA
NRA
....
Now, veterans look on in disbelief, seniors see their needs getting short shrift, doctors sense their loss of autonomy and control over how they practice medicine, and gun owners watch their Second Amendment rights being compromised. The primary organizations that they have turned to for support and representation have abandoned them for greater political capital and monetary gains. It's time for other organizations to take hold of these issues and for the betrayed constituencies to recognize that other groups may be in a far better position to meet their needs.

AARP is TOTALLY on board for OBAMACARE

Why is anyone who believes in freedom, a member of AARP?
Are your Travel Benefits worth it?
Or your discounts?
President says that his health plan will "allow you to keep your own insurance. Where in the Constitution does it give him the power to "ALLOW ME TO KEEP"?

AARP says.....
Special interest groups are trying to block progress on health care reform. Derailing a debate with myths and scare tactics. Desperately trying to block you from discovering that reform won’t ration care. You and your doctor will always decide the best treatment for you. Tell Congress not to let myths get in the way of fixing what’s broken with health care.

Florida Residents wonder if AARP is for members or just the Unions?

According to WFTV in Florida, AARP tried to answer questions from some angry residents in Brevard County. They all came to be heard and, with no other public forum offered by congressional leaders in Brevard County, they turned to the AARP to demand answers.

"Why wouldn't AARP insist the government fix Medicare and Medicaid and Social Security before we discuss anything?" one attendee asked................

HOW CLOSE ARE THEY NOW???

Many fear companies will drop private insurance and force them into the government plan and one senior wanted to know why the AARP hasn't publicly opposed it......................

People at the meeting were very skeptical. Not only did many of them say they don't trust the government, they questioned the AARP's association with unions and whether they were looking out for the interest of their own insurance arm rather than their membership.
