Some GOP alleged "Tea party" types say No to Social Issues.

The Politico linked to a letter by some GOP folk.  The letter is signed by Christopher Barron of GOProud, Andrew Dodge of the Maine Tea Party PatriotsPam Stevenson of the Arizona Tea Party Patriots, & Dianna Greenwood of the New American Patriots.

One line in the letter states....
Already, there are Washington insiders and special interest groups that hope to co-opt the Tea Party’s message and use it to push their own agenda – particularly as it relates to social issues.

Most stories are portraying that line in a different manner than how it was presented. The media is locked on to just one line from the letter. The group clearly wants to focus on the ties the bind. The group is interested in Constitutional issues, and lessening  taxation, spending and government intrusion. They want to focus on the the positive. They don't want their message co-opted.

The letter is being cited that this group has an aversion to social issues. It did not say that. It says that they just want to keep their eye on the ball.

It is a good idea except ........

The left is pushing their social agenda daily.
