Another IPCC error.

The U.N. panel of climate experts overstated how much of the Netherlands is below sea level, according to a preliminary report on Saturday, admitting yet another flaw after a row last month over Himalayan glacier melt.
A background note by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) said a 2007 report wrongly stated that 55 percent of the country was below sea level since the figure included areas above sea level, prone to flooding along rivers.....
The Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency, the original source of the incorrect data, said on February 5 that just 26 percent of the country is below sea level and 29 percent susceptible to river flooding.

The IPCC stated,"The sea level statistic was used for background information only, and the updated information remains consistent with the overall conclusions".

Mistakes on any level does call into question the ENTIRE REPORT.
If you can't get the simple stuff straight, how can you be relied upon for the more complicated material?? When you wish to change the way the entire world operates, you must prove your case well beyond any doubt.

Four..Small Errors.

Some climate scientists are calling for drastic changes in how future United Nations climate reports are done......
The suggested changes come after four embarrassing but small errors have popped up recently in one of the panel's four reports.

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Blows it Again

UN climate change panel based claims on student dissertation and magazine article
....one of the sources quoted was a feature article published in a popular magazine for climbers which was based on anecdotal evidence from mountaineers about the changes they were witnessing on the mountainsides around them.
The other was a dissertation written by a geography student, studying for the equivalent of a master's degree, at the University of Berne in Switzerland that quoted interviews with mountain guides in the Alps.

UK Times finds more Global Warming BS from UN

Ed Miliband, the energy and climate change minister, has suggested British and overseas floods — such as those in Bangladesh in 2007 — could be linked to global warming. Barack Obama, the US president, said last autumn: "More powerful storms and floods threaten every continent."

Whooooops...

The Sunday UK Times has since found that the scientific paper on which the IPCC based its claim had not been peer reviewed, nor published, at the time the climate body issued its report.

When the paper was eventually published, in 2008, it had a new caveat. It said: "We find insufficient evidence to claim a statistical relationship between global temperature increase and catastrophe losses."
