There is story after story about Palestinian Refugees. The official UN number is around 5 million. Did you know that number counts not only the actual people that left present day Israel, but includes their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren? The actual number of Palestinians that left Israel was approximately 700,000 people. There are scores of UN Declarations and Resolutions about Palestinian Refugees. There are calls for repatriation, and restitution.
You never hear of Jewish refugees in that same period. You don't hear of the hundreds of thousands of Jewish Refugees that fled Muslim countries. Below is a list of 3/4's of a million Jewish refugees that fled. You don't hear about those people. Most people when they think of Jewish Refugees think World War II and Europe. If these people were counted the same way that Palestinian Refugees were counted, the number would be around 4,000,000.
A body representing the Jewish refugees, the World Organization of Jews from Arab Countries (WOJAC) estimated in 2006, that Jewish property abandoned in Arab countries would be valued at more than $300 billion. They also estimated Jewish-owned real-estate left behind in Arab lands at 100,000 square kilometers (four times the size of the state of Israel). estimated by Sidney Zabludoff to be at minimum $700 million in period prices and $6 billion today.
Notice that the maps shows that the "Palestine Mandate" area controlled by Britain is now very similar to what is now Israel and Jordan. It could easily be said that the areas could be termed Israeli Palestine and Jordanian Palestine. There are 0 Jews living in the Jordanian Palestine. According to Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics, the Arab population in 2010 was estimated at 1,617,000, representing 20.5% of the country's population.
