But it’s not political, it’s environmental. It’s charity. Right. The funds go to one of four non-profit groups with no political motivation at all ......Yeah, the money goes to charities that want to clean up the Gulf. Sure it does.... Yeah, Greenpeace and Earth Justice.

ReplyDeleteWHAT IF the federal government had the Fire Boom on hand and onsite as required by their own federal law when the leak first started maybe there would have much tighter control of the leak and spread of oil....
WHAT IF the Obama administration had suspended the Jones act and\or took the Dutch up on their offer(s) to send oil skimming\recovery which could have resulted in many skimmimg ships directly over the leak and thus containing the oil in a much smaller area......
Nice shirt but maybe change the word "Gulf" to "Federal Government"?....
The suspension of the Jones Act is such a BS issue. 15 countries lended aid to the relief effort. The act deals with trade and commerce. The fact that the Jones Act was not waved did nothing to prohibit the 15 countries from helping.
