Thought Police roam streets of England
Dale McAlpine was charged with causing “harassment, alarm or distress” after a homosexual police community support officer (PCSO) overheard him reciting a number of “sins” referred to in the Bible, including blasphemy, drunkenness and same sex relationships.
No matter your opinion on homosexuality, the idea of "Thought Police" walking around a city is FREAKIN' SCARY. A different government could say that different things are illegal. How about Democracy? How about Civil Rights? How about Freedom?
Sorry, Go To Jail. Go Directly To Jail. Do Not Pass Go. Do Not Collect $200.
Police officers are alleging that he made the remark in a voice loud enough to be overheard by others and have charged him with using abusive or insulting language, contrary to the Public Order Act.
