Congrats To Al Gore on his new home.

It is so good to see all the solar panels everywhere.

Former Vice President Al Gore and his wife, Tipper, have added a Montecito-area property to their real estate holdings, reports the Montecito Journal... The couple spent $8,875,000 on an ocean-view villa on 1.5 acres with a swimming pool, spa and fountains, a real estate source familiar with the deal confirms. The Italian-style house has six fireplaces, five bedrooms and nine bathrooms.See more pics here.
I am sure all the chandeliers in the kitchen will be replaced by solar powered fluorescent lighting. And the lighting sconces in the dining room will be replaced.
Of course we know that no fossil fuels will be used in the fireplaces. The spa is heated by GeoThermal fuel. The 9 bathrooms all use low flow systems. I am sure they will hire all union help for their household staff. And they will be directed to recycle extensively. And their landscapers will be represented by the California Landscape Contractors Association.

I wonder how many people will see that either
A: Al Gore is a HUGE HYPOCRITE and doesn't care that he is adding to Global warming, or
B: Al Gore knows that Man Made Global Warming is a myth, and that what he does personally makes little difference to the earth, or
C: Al Gore is just a Snake Oil Sales man, or a modern day Elmer Gantry

  1. He does not need to have solar and wind generated electricity. He simply buys all of the carbon credits he needs on the European or Chicago Climate Exchange (the exchange that Obama helped to create when he was an Illinois Senator). Gore is rich enough that he can buy all the carbon credits he needs and he can live a lifestyle of carbon gluttony. So in reality you can put 100 solar panels on your house but he will still be more carbon negative than you will ever be. Gore knows that solar panels and wind generators is for suckers. Just buy the carbon credits and become one with nature.
