A California man,J. Patrick Bedell, who walked calmly up to two police officers and opened fire at an entrance to the Pentagon Thursday night appears to have acted alone and was not connected to any terrorist plot, Pentagon police chief Richard S. Keevill said Friday morning..... according to WAPO
J. Patrick Bedell streamed Anti-Bush 9/11 Truther stuff online such as .......
{Bush}would see the sacrifice of thousands of its citizens in an event such as the September 11 attacks, as a small cost in order to perpetuate its barbaric control. This collection of gangsters would find it in their interest to foment conflict and initiate wars throughout the world, in order to divert attention from their misconduct and criminality. The true nature of such a regime would find its clearest expression in the satanic violence currently ongoing in Iraq.
Bedell also condemns what he calls "unjust laws, cannabis prohibition" in the Wikipedia post linked to him, and says he grew 16 cannabis plants on his balcony in Irvine, CA in order to protest those laws.
Mr. Bedell's ambitions went beyond seeing marijuana legalized. On his Wikipedia user page, he wrote of his hopes of seeing "billions and billions of carefully cultivated, highly valuable cannibis plants growing through the United States with complete security of property." He envisioned the plants being used as a part of a new monetary system tied to the value of a gram of cannabis according to the Wall St. Journal

Guess which party he registered under in 2005 and was actively registered under as of 2008?
