Obviously he didn't listen, otherwise he would know that it was all a blast at Rahm Emmanuel and President Obama for their use of the term and their joking about Special Olympics. Obviously he is carrying water for the Dems with his call on Rush. It is just like with the magic negro comments, if you point out the hypocrisy of the Dems, they attack.
