Prec·i·pice:: a hazardous situation

I guess he was "Misoverestimated" again.

“We are on the precipice of an achievement that has eluded Congresses and presidents for generations,” Obama told reporters after meeting with Senate Democrats for about an hour at the White House complex.
prec·i·pice
1 : a very steep or overhanging place
2 : a hazardous situation

Does that mean that we as a nation are on the edge of a cliff, about to plummet into the abyss of Obamacare? A hazardous situation that has been avoided by the previous generations of politicians? And President Obama is about to push Congress and America off the cliff?
