115 Pregnant Girls IN ONE HIGH SCHOOL
Welcome to Chicago's Paul Robeson High School
It is a Chicago public school full of energy and spirit, and 115 pregnant girls.
Chicago Public Schools says it does not track the overall number of teen moms in the district. But Robeson Principal Gerald Morrow knows the count at his school in Englewood: 115 young ladies who are either expecting or already have had children.
One thing they might not know about their principal: His mom had him when she was 15. That's why accepting the problem -- and working through it -- is so important to him.

Let's see. The Robeson school reports that 1 out of every 7 unwed teenage girls are or were pregnant. That's a lower ratio than in the Palin family where 1 of 3 girls was pregnant. 1 out of 2 if you limit it to teen girls. Now what exactly is your point?
ReplyDeleteMy point is that the children, both the ones having the baby, and the baby itself will have a difficult time statistically. If you click the link in the post, it will give you a plethora of statistics.
ReplyDeleteI don't know where the Palin girl will fall in statistically. Wether she will fall towards the mean or towards the fictional Murphy Brown character is unknown.
