Obama even takes credit for a perfect game.
Mark Buehrle pitched a perfect game.
He's a monster-truck-driving, deer-hunting, self-proclaimed country boy who strains to hit 90 on the radar gun and was picked in the 38th round of the 1998 amateur baseball draft. He did a great job. Congrats to Mark and the Chisox.
But the real credit should goto the man who caused it.
Obama congratulated Buehrle on his "unbelievable achievement" and suggested that perhaps it helped that Obama had worn a Sox jacket when he threw out the opening albeit short, pitch of the All-Star game the other week.

Yes, and in the next White House Authorized reprint of the Bible there will probably be a verse in Genesis proclaiming that God created the heavens and the earth at Obama's suggestion!
